Timpe Day Care
Simone Timpe Day Care is a semi-residential, family-like community for seniors and people with disabilities. We offer needs-based care provided by qualified staff, medical care, and a variety of cultural and recreational activities – including pick-up and drop-off service upon request. Our goal is to support independent living in one's own home and to significantly relieve the burden on family caregivers. The day is planned according to individual preferences.

Opening Hours & Financing
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Day care is a Alternative to a nursing home and will including from the long-term care insurance fund Funded (depending on the level of care required). A small solution – with a big impact.

Organizationally, we offer a diverse range of childcare options:
- Singing, making music, creative activities, games
- Musical gymnastics, coordination training
- Memory training, perception exercises
- Excursions, events and festivals
- Individual one-on-one therapy
- Shared meals and participation in weekly planning
Our day care center is open from Monday to Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. We are closed on public holidays and weekends.
We offer space for 25 day care guests and care for guests with care levels 1 to 5, recipients of social assistance benefits, and private guests. We are unable to provide care for guests who are completely bedridden.

- Occupational therapy with offerings from the craft, play and domestic science sectors
- Animal-assisted therapy with the aim of promoting motor skills and supporting cognitive abilities
- Movement therapy/gymnastics with the aim of training and maintaining mobility and coordination
- Symptom-oriented therapy with the aim of activating the skills of speaking, grasping, feeling, classifying and recognizing (through a dedicated occupational therapist)
- physiotherapy, is offered independently by external specialists who come to the day care center
- Hairdressers and foot care specialists also come to the house regularly.

The Simone Timpe day care center opened in August 2011 in the office complex at Lohrmannstraße 20 after a five-month renovation and construction period. The following rooms are available to our day care guests:
